Q3 2024 Performance of Top Maps & Navigation Apps in Russia

In the third quarter of 2024, the top Maps and Navigation applications in Russia showed varied performance metrics on a unified platform. Here's a closer look at the performance of these apps, with data sourced from Sensor Tower.

2GIS: Offline map & navigation saw consistent weekly download numbers, starting at around 194K in early July and peaking at 224K in late August before declining to 172K by the end of September. Weekly active users increased from 5.2M to 5.5M over the quarter.

Yandex Go: Taxi Food Delivery maintained a robust download pace, beginning at 243K and ending the quarter with 192K downloads per week. Its active user base showed a slight decline, starting at 5.6M and decreasing to approximately 5.3M by the end of September.

Yandex Maps and Navigator generated modest weekly revenue, fluctuating between $1.2K and $1.9K. Weekly downloads started strong with 230K in early July, but gradually fell to 151K by the end of September. The app's active users slightly declined from 14.7M to 15M throughout the quarter.
